In case you’re not familiar with the technology, Tridion DX combines the best of Web Content Management with SDL Tridion Sites, and Structured Content Management (CCMS) with SDL Tridion Docs. It’s a powerful platform that’s being used by the world’s biggest brands to transform customer experiences.
This is what the analysts are saying:
Gartner: Magic Quadrant (MQ) published for Web Content Management¹
Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, was just released in early July, which evaluates leading WCM vendors in the market, including SDL Tridion DX, based on completeness of vision and ability to execute. SDL Tridion DX receives “leading edge" scores – or higher – for all Critical Capabilities covered in the report.
Ovum: Decision Matrix: Selecting a Web Experience Management (WEM)) Solution, 2018–19²
To add to SDL’s position in Gartner’s MQ, Ovum recently covered SDL Tridion DX in their Decision Matrix: Selecting a Web Experience Management Solution, 2018–19 report, naming SDL a Leader amongst a total of 12 platforms!
This is great recognition, and we at SDL are very proud that our web content management platform, SDL Tridion DX, has been named a Leader in this report for the second time in a row and we encourage you to read the full SWOT analysis.
Among the highlights, Ovum specifically calls out SDL Tridion Sites’ (part of SDL Tridion DX) strengths in:
- Experience optimization, to enable personalized experiences using both web-session specific data and customer data
- BluePrinting®, to manage content relationships and dependencies across languages, brands, and channels
- Integration / interoperability, based on a rich set of APIs and product connectors
- Artificial Intelligence, to deliver the right content in the right context across all touchpoints
In looking at the opportunities for SDL, Ovum describes:
- How the integration of SDL Tridion DX with SDL’s translation technologies can be a decisive factor for enterprises when it comes to choosing a new WEM system
- How SDL can take further advantage of the trend in larger enterprises to build service layers on top of WEM systems, using the Tridion DX Content as a Service (CaaS) deployment model
When examining the scores that SDL Tridion DX received, the solution stands out in core capabilities, interoperability, scalability, digital asset management, architecture and administration, aligning very well with enterprises’ needs to support their current and future digital experience initiatives.
