‘The Cloud’ and How it Impacts SDL Customers

At the end of last year I wrote about ‘The Cloud’ – you can read about that for some background on what it is and how it impacts the business environment in general. Yesterday, we shared the latest statistics on the volume of transactions going through SDL’s Cloud services - systems that we host for our customers in our world-class data center in London. It is over ten years since we started providing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for our customers.

‘The Cloud’ and the internet in general is central to SDL’s strategy and approach to managing global content. Through SDL’s extensive offerings, SDL provides and will continue to develop hosted software solutions through ‘The Cloud’ to:
